HOTELS

Hi everybody.

After a long research for the best accommodation I've found a solution which I think matches better to our program.

The idea is to stay for the 1st night at Serres (close to the track) and the other nights at Halkidiki. In this way we have to cover only one time the distance between the track and Halkidiki.
I've already the offer of the hotel at Serres and I'm waiting a reply these days from 4-5 hotels in Halkidiki at the same place.
I wasn't satisfied of the price of the hotel that we have found at August, so I'm trying to find a better one or to take a lower price from that hotel.

That's why it takes me a lot of time to publish the prices.

So for Thursday 20 of August (for those who will be there from Thursday)

HOTEL ALEXANDER 3* availability about 25 rooms

single room 50 € b/b, double room 60 € b/b, 3bed room 80 € b/b

If we need more rooms there is another hotel very very close but more expensive. For this reason we are going to keep the priority of the confirms at the list. So first we will cover availability at Alexander hotel and then we will use if necessary the other.

HOTEL ACROPOL 5* availability about 40 rooms (brand new hotel)

single room 65 € b/b, double room 80 € b/b, 3 bed room 100 € b/b

Both of the hotels can adapt some rooms to 4 bed rooms.
They are very close to the track and they can keep our luggages after check out, for the whole day of the track, so we can go to the track without.

I understand that the plan now is:
- arrive at Serres on Thursday
- track day on Friday, in the evening off to Halkidiki (we need an afterparty there!!!)
- weekend on a sunny beach :-D
- back home on Monday... :-(

It's not necessary!!
We are trying to find some offers in economical hotel/studios also for the days after the official meeting for those who would like to stay more.



Don't worry!!!

I would love to stay longer but even after one week away I am afraid that I will find my parents killed back home.
By whom? By my kids who will be taken care of by my folks when I am away.

So nice kidds? Why you don't take them with you?

To drive them almost 2k km in the backseat of GT4 with 3" exhaust?

First, they would be deaf by the end of trip.
Second, if they would not die, I would kill them myself. Coulde you stand a question "Daddy, when will we arrive?" asked 5 million times?
Third, even loving parents need some time off without kids.
